Properly Storing Your RV

Don't let improper storing practices cause damage to your RV

Make sure your RV is winterized!  Leave RV antifreeze in the toilet bowl, clean the fridge out thoroughly and leave the door[s] open to allow airflow and prevent mold or mildew growth.  Be sure to use a de-humidifier and close all doors, windows and vents.

Cover your RV with a proper RV cover or if you choose to use tarps you’ll need to ensure that there is some air flow!   Use a “Mouse Free” rodent repellent and a form of fresh scent device or at least a few dryer sheets inside the unit to keep it rodent free and smelling fresh.

Lastly, don’t forget to check on your RV from time to time just to make sure everything is alright and if there is an issue you can hopefully catch it early before any extensive damage is done.

We carry a large inventory of RV maintenance and winterization supplies in our 2500 square foot parts department.  If you have any questions about storing or winterizing your RV drop in and say hello to one of our friendly parts advisors and they will be able to offer expert assistance.
